In Person Tasting FAQs

There is no definitive list of areas we cover. If you want to have a tasting then the best thing to do is to get in touch

As a generalisation we cover the wider Midlands area and northern Home Counties. 

Yes we can conduct tastings in London but we may have to factor in additional transport costs such as congestion charge and parking restrictions when providing a quote. Please contact us for further information.

Pretty much anywhere you want! Your home, your garden, your holiday rental, your place of work, your events venue are all great places for a tasting. To put it simply, if you want to taste wine somewhere we’ll do our best to accommodate you. 

We don’t have set costs for the very simple reason that all of our tastings are tailor made to your brief and budget. However to give some ball park figures where we are sourcing the wine:

£27.50 pp – 6 x samples of good “everyday” wines

£35.00 pp- 6 x samples of “premium” wines 

£50.00 pp – 6 x samples of “fine” wines

 

Yes! We are more than happy to work with any wine. Please contact us for a bespoke quote if you wish to provide the wine.

Absolutely! We love working with bars, restaurants and hotels to showcase your products to your customers. Please contact us for more information about what we can do for you.

We typically host a tasting using six different wines. We can do more or less but six tends to be the perfect amount.

No.  We can host for any group size, however our costs are based on a minimum of six people attending. We may waive this based on your geographical location.

Group discount is available for groups of 20 or more. Please contact us for a bespoke quote. 

Yes we bring all glassware with us. The only thing we ask for you to provide is drinking water.

Unless you’re doing one of our specific food and wine tasting events we don’t provide food. We are more than happy to share some great pairing ideas for you to arrange yourself.

A typical tasting featuring six wines tends to last around 90 minutes. We will need access to the venue up to an hour before to set up depending on the number of attendees.

Entirely up to you! We work with your space taking into account the style of event that you want to create. Some events work better standing, some seated. We will help you plan this.

Yes, we can send you a personalised PDF gift voucher. You can either choose the date and style of tasting yourself or leave it for the recipient to organise.

Virtual Tasting FAQs

We can distribute our tasting packs anywhere in the UK, although some additional costs occur for Northern Ireland and some remote areas.

Unfortunately we cannot send any virtual tasting packs outside of the UK. 

We host our virtual tastings on Zoom. You will be sent the access details in the week before your tasting.

We don’t have set costs for the very simple reason that all of our tastings are tailor made to your brief and budget. However to give some ball park figures where we are sourcing the wine:

£30.00 pp – 6 x samples of good “everyday” wines

£40.00 pp- 6 x samples of “premium” wines 

£55.00 pp – 6 x samples of “fine” wines

Delivery is included in the price that you will have been quoted. 

To maintain the quality of the wine, tasting packs are shipped to arrive a day or two before your tasting. Our preferred delivery partner is UPS and tasting packs are sent on a two business day turnaround, although in practice most are delivered the day after dispatch.

We typically host a tasting using six different wines and you will receive six 100ml sample pouches. We can do more or less but six tends to be the perfect amount.

Our virtual tastings are designed for groups of six to 100.

We also offer remote private tastings for individuals and couples. Please contact us for more information.

 

Due to the postage costs we do not offer group discount on virtual tastings. If we are able to send multiple tasting packs to one address we will reflect the reduced postage cost in your quote.

We totally understand that not everyone has a cupboard full of wine glasses so please feel free to use any glassware that you have. Alternatively have one glass and some water to swill it out after each sample.
