Tom clearly knows his stuff, it's great listening to him talk in depth about the different wines and sharing his knowledge whilst being fun & engaging. It was easy and fun to arrange, and on the day Tom was the perfect host: knowledgeable, engaging and well organised. The wines chosen were varied, interesting and very enjoyable and because Tom is independent there was no "hard sell". Tom had organised a wine-related quiz which added a fun, competitive element. It was really relaxed and Tom joined us via zoom on the Friday after Christmas for a little over 90 minutes.  All the wine arrived the week before, with pens, note paper and basic instructions as to when the wine should be opened/chilled for the event.  The 6 wines around the world quiz/session was great fun and Tom gave loads of information about each wine, answering questions and prompting us as we sampled each bottle. We had selected a mid-range "Introduction to Italian Wines" covering 6 of the main types of wine in the region.  Tom certainly knows his stuff and gave us the opportunity to learn about previously unheard of wines which are well worth discovering.  We are hoping to plan another event soon.
