Who are Tomelier?
Based in the midlands, we are specialists in bespoke wine tasting events; offering both in person and virtual tastings.
From just £27.50 per person, you can create your own bespoke wine tasting experience with us, tailored to your brief and budget. Whether that be face to face at your home, place of work, even holiday accommodation, or virtually from the comfort of your own sofa.
Why should you choose Tomelier? If you’re looking for a down to earth wine tasting then you’ll love our approachable attitude. You and your guests will enjoy a fun and light hearted session, being educated whilst also entertained. You can create your own event or choose from a number of different styles of wine tasting, normally tasting six wines over a 90 minute session.
You may have been unfortunate enough to attend a tasting where you are put under pressure to buy the wines that you have tried. Not a good experience. We are not like that. We don’t sell the wines that you taste. Instead they are hand-selected for your event based on your brief ensuring that you can enjoy your tasting without it turning into a sales event.

How much does a wine tasting cost? We don't have set prices, however we believe that the world of wine should be accessible to all. We we can put an in person wine tasting package together from as little as £27.50 per person or host a virtual tasting from just £30.00 per person. To find out more click below.

It was easy and fun to arrange, and on the day Tom was the perfect host: knowledgeable, engaging and well organised. The wines chosen were varied, interesting and very enjoyable and because Tom is independent there was no "hard sell". Tom had organised a wine-related quiz which added a fun, competitive element. Richard Jones01/01/2024I booked a virtual wine tasting session for a Christmas present for my family this year. It was really relaxed and Tom joined us via zoom on the Friday after Christmas for a little over 90 minutes. All the wine arrived the week before, with pens, note paper and basic instructions as to when the wine should be opened/chilled for the event. The 6 wines around the world quiz/session was great fun and Tom gave loads of information about each wine, answering questions and prompting us as we sampled each bottle. Tom certainly knows his stuff and gave us the opportunity to learn about previously unheard of wines which are well worth discovering.
